5 Highly Recommended Podcasts for Women in their 20’s

Lately, I have been listening to a ton of podcasts. I took a little break from them during quarantine because I obviously wasn’t commuting to work, going on long car rides, and especially not going to the gym (my favorite place to listen to podcasts). But now, I’ve gotten into a routine of squeezing them in during the day. If you ever ask yourself “What podcast should I listen to?”, then you’re in luck because I have 5 solid recommendations below. These span multiple categories to give you some variety and are great podcasts for women in their 20’s!

Q: What Podcast Should I Listen To?

A: Any of These.

Office Ladies podcast

Office Ladies: My boyfriend and I discovered this on our recent road trip to Colorado. The co-stars of The Office, Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey, dive into an episode each week and give exclusive behind the scene stories. What makes this podcast so fun is that, along with their amazing dynamic, Jenna and Angela bring in guest actors and producers to give a whole other viewpoint to the creation of this hilarious show.

Thick and Thin podcast

Thick & Thin: I found this podcast by following Katy Bellotte on YouTube, and like her creative videos, her podcast does not disappoint. Katy (host) speaks on challenging topics most people shy away from and makes you feel like you are chatting with your best friend. Who wouldn’t want that?!

Favorite episode: The truth about hustle culture

The Skinny Confidential podcast

The Skinny Confidential Him & Her: I love this one mainly for all the informational health and wellness episodes. Lauren and Michael (hosts) are honest and unfiltered with so many topics and feature several well-known guests.

Favorite episode: Dr. Steven Gundry Pt.2 – Hormone Balance, Covid-19 Defense, & Longevity Diets

But What's Next with Michelle Reed, a great podcast for women in their 20's

But, What’s Next? With Michelle Reed: This one definitely falls into the basket of podcasts for women in their 20’s, graduating from college or entering adulthood. In short, Michelle tackles topics such as finding a fulfilling career, dating, budgeting, and so much more. I’ve found it as an amazing source of inspiration and motivation when moving through a pivotal period of your life!

Favorite episode: Ep. 12: How to Be a Content Creator | The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly on Social Media Content Creation

Crime Junkie Podcast

Crime Junkie: I had to throw this in there because it was my very first podcast I ever listened to! Ashley and Brit (hosts) break down tons of absolutely horrifying murders, urban legend turned real cases and abductions. Their story telling is gripping and easily digestible while providing a new perspective for solved and unsolved cases. If you love all things crime, this one is for you. But, try not to listen at night. 😉

If you’re a big fan of the crime and thriller category, I’d recommend you check out any of these books, a great supplement to listening to podcasts.
