Let’s face it, we’ve all been spending a little more time at home over this past year. Back in April 2020, I wrote a post all about cute and comfy things to wear at home, thinking we would only be in this lockdown situation for a few months. Boy was I wrong. But hey, things are looking up! We are on the road to recovery and with the turn of the season, things are looking even brighter. Spring of 2021 here, can’t believe it’s been a whole year! To coincide with the new season and transition back to normalcy, I’ve decided to put together a list of some of my favorite comfy loungewear pieces that would perfectly suit you at home or on the go this spring.
Whether you are spending the evening curling up with a suspenseful book, working from home, running errands, or watching a movie with your family on the weekend, check out these spring loungewear pieces I found. And hey, just because it’s loungewear doesn’t mean you can’t wear it out of the house! These pieces will suit you perfectly in many situations.
Let’s Go Shopping
We’ll start things off with something super easy to throw on, matching loungewear sets. You don’t have to think twice about putting a sweatshirt and sweatpants together hoping they match because these already do! If you don’t like the matched look, you can always swap the top or bottom for another piece of lounge clothing you already own.
Comfy One Piece Loungewear
One-piece loungewear might even be easier to throw on than a matching set. There are several knit dresses and jumpsuits linked here that are perfect for days at home or a trip to the grocery store under those spring jackets. When the warmth is hear to stay, these jumsuits are perfect on their own in the mornings or evenings. Throughout the year, you can dress up these items with a denim or leather jacket and some white sneakers.
They say sweats are the new leggings. But, if you want to step up your cotton leggings, try a pair of leather ones to elevate your look but still be stylish and comfortable. Leather leggings pair well with oversized sweaters for a more polished look or a drawstring hoodie for a sporty look. Leopard print and tie-dye lounge pants are still in the mix this season, so I included both options below.
Cropped crewnecks, henleys sweatshirts, and sherpa hoodies are some of the major trends right now. My mom has a Barefoot Dreams cardigan and every time she wears it makes me want to get one!
