There’s something about chilly morning walks, bundling up in a blanket with some hot cocoa, and watching the snowfall from your window that just makes winter magical. But with every winter season comes something we all hate, dry skin. Let’s be honest, once during the winter we’re all asking ourselves, why is my skin so dry? There’s nothing worse than having dry cracked knuckles and chapped lips during the day. Luckily there are some amazing winter beauty essentials coming to your aid.

If you’re wondering how do I get rid of dry skin, I’ve got you covered. Below I’ll be sharing some of my favorite winter beauty products to combat dry, flaky skin from head to toe. Top Winter Beauty Essentials Picks

Treat Your Face

Wishful Yo Glo Facial Enzyme Scrub: Made for all skin types, this gentle facial exfoliator is great to scrub off dry flaky skin. Formulated with pineapple extract, papaya extract, and BHA/AHA’s, this scrub smoothes your skin texture and complexion. It’s not harsh like other facial exfoliators so if you have sensitive skin this is great. Immediately after one use, your skin will feel super soft!

LANEIGE Water Bank Moisture Cream: I religiously use the Murad Nutrient Charged moisturizer, but I just recently tried this one out and it is amazing. I personally find gel water-based moisturizers to work for my combination skin. This product is super lightweight and is formulated with green mineral water to hydrate the skin.

Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Hydrating Primer: Another great beauty essential for combination skin, this primer not only diminishes the appearance of pores, but it hydrates your skin so your makeup goes on flawlessly. I love it because it doesn’t cause your makeup to slide around like other greasy face primers. It’s also great by itself without any foundation on top!

Beauty Products For Your Hands

Burts Bee’s Almond & Milk hand cream:  If you wash your hands often and use hand sanitizer (as you should) your hands probably will get super dry no matter what time of year. I especially get dry around my knuckles and sometimes they crack and bleed, not fun! That’s why I love using this super-rich hand cream because it immediately moisturizes your skin. It’s exactly the kind of product your hands need during these winter months.

Beauty Essentials For Your Lips

LANEIGE Lip Sleep Mask: Another product I recently tried, this lip mask is quickly absorbing and enriched with vitamin C and antioxidants to deeply nourish your lips. It’s best used at night, so when you wake up your lips will feel refreshed and supple.

Tree Hut Sugar Lips lip scrub: If you want your lips extra soft, try using a lip scrub! This lip scrub is made with sugar and peppermint oil to exfoliate and refresh chapped lips. All you have to do is moisten your lips, apply the lip scrub and rub your lips together. Rinse off (or lick it off) and your lips will feel ultra-soft! Follow up with a lip balm afterward to lock in the moisture.

Eliminate Dry Skin on Your Body

Tree Hut Body Scrub: This is my favorite body exfoliator because it is gentle yet so powerful! I love using it especially before I shave my legs, but you can use it all over your body. Tree Hut has so many different scents and you can easily find it at Target or Ulta.

The Body Shop Body Butter: When my skin gets dry, it also gets super itchy. I always use a moisturizer after I shower to lock in moisture. This body butter is so thick and leaves your skin feeling baby soft!
